Entreprenerus can improve customer service with cloud technologies and Twitter marketing services
Many business owners will soon be able to connect to social media networking sites - like Twitter and Facebook - through their corporate clouds thanks to new ServiceCloud technology, reports the Vancouver Sun.
The ServiceCloud lets entrepreneurs serve their customers without having to run their software. If a social media user tweeted a question about a company, ServiceCloud would allow a customer relations associate to generate an answer through their online databases.
Canadian small business owners might be well-advised to invest in this solution - social media is becoming an important tool for small business branding, and many entrepreneurs are finding that simply monitoring and responding to tweets is not enough.
For example, when the servers went down for Peer 1 - an Atlanta-based data centre - the company was unable to understand the extent to which this affected clients. By monitoring tweets, the marketing director was able to get insight on what consumers experiencing, but the company quickly realized devoting one employee to the task of tracking tweets was not enough.
Integrating social media with corporate clouds might offer social media management that is the next step to effective marketing. Getting in sync with social media is increasingly important as a study by marketing firm HubSpot shows that Facebook is the most effective platform for generating new business.
