Consistent brands can help generate long-lasting impressions
Branding is an important part of establishing a new company. Often, a brand can make or break a Canadian small business.
According to a recent article from the Globe and Mail, a consistent brand personality is vital when a Canadian small business owner is trying to market a new product. A consistent brand can help gain exposure for the product and business, says the site.
"From the way the receptionist answers the phone to the way an ad looks, to the website design, the personality must always be consistent," Angelo Perri, a marketing expert from Toronto, told the Globe and Mail.
Perri suggests that business owners open up to customers when trying to figure out what the brand's personality is. The customer knows the brand better than the business owner, says Perri, so he or she should be consulted before hand.
A recent article from CanadaOne suggests that business owners work on their first and last impressions. According to the site, customers remember those moments the most. A good first and last impression could further convey the personality of a business owner's brands.
