When it comes to marketing technology, one Ontario business is hoping to make things easier for small business owners throughout the province.

e-presence Consultants recently launched the Ontario Small Business Network as a business-to-business platform for interested parties to not only promote products, but also share useful information. One of the main focuses of the new service is to show small businesses how to best use social media marketing tools.

According to the company, the network has all the tools that will allow any Ontario small business to maximize its use for social media marketing. After joining the network, small business owners will have tools to "create forums and blogs, add corporate photos and videos, publish corporate events and, best of all, add extra links in order to increase their search engine visibility."

When it comes to targeting consumers aged 25-34, doing so online can often be the best way. The Wall Street Journal reports that according to a study by the NPD Group, Canadian consumers in that age group reported the largest number of transactions online.
